Stablecoins have long been seen as “safe havens.”
But in DeFi, “stable” doesn’t always mean stable.
Just days ago, XUSD (Stream Finance) suffered a severe depeg falling to ~$0.26–$0.33 (a 70–77% drop) caused by a ~4.1x leverage loop and a faulty oracle, according to on-chain data and team reports.
