Detailed Exposure 🧵

Cap is a novel restaking/cdp protocol that allows strategy teams (operators) to take out loans against collateral posted by institutional restakers (delegators).
I.E., operators don't need to post collateral because delegators do that for them.
The man in the middle is the defi lender, who lends to operators, and who's loans are overcollateralized by the delegator's assets.

That means that cUSD and stcUSD are exposed primarily to the collateral posted that is liquidatable in the event an operator has to default on a loan.
Collateral Backing:
⇒ @Stake_Stone: $27.2m wstETH
⇒ @hyperithm: $10.9m LBTC (<$400 wstETH & wBTC)
⇒ @ConcreteXYZ: $5.7m WBTC
⇒ @MEVCapital: $5.3m wstETH
⇒ @RenzoProtocol: $4.1m wstETH
⇒ @Re7Labs: $826k wstETH
Totals:
wstETH = $37.4m
LBTC = $10.9m
WBTC = $5.7m

Here are the borrowers (operators) and their respective health factors.
Remember, if their uncollateralized loan goes bad, it's the delegators collateral that is liquidated to repay lenders (USDC depositors, i.e., cUSD minters)
➢ Hyperithm: $5.3m (163% collateralized)
➢ Concrete: $5m (150% collateralized)
➢ Stakestone: $5m (434% collateralized)
➢ Pareto: $2.7m (158% collateralized)
➢ Re7: $101 (655,000% collateralized)

That means cUSD is currently 3x overcollateralized.
I.E., there is three times as much collateral as there is borrowed USDC.

It should be noted that the deposits that are not being lent out to operators live on Aave to generate a good base yield.
Meaning users to additionally have aave USDC lending exposure.

Anywho, go check out cap.
Hopefully you understand the backing and risks better now.
